Installation
Mechanical
Connect the antenna to the Verdi Gateway using the included 20-foot or 2-foot antenna cable (N-Type female to SMA-RP male). For maximum range, the antenna needs to be elevated as high as possible, away from metal objects, and within line of sight of all controllers and RTUs.
Note: We recommend a maximum antenna cable length of 20 ft of LMR-240 coax cable. Do not add additional extension cables beyond 20 ft. If you are sourcing your own cable, only use LMR-240 coax cables or better.Depending on whether you have the 120V AC or off-grid solar configuration:
Connect the included 120V AC adapter to the Verdi Gateway
orConnect the Solar Power system to the Verdi Gateway. Installation instructions here: Gateway Solar Kit
Use zip ties (included) to secure the Verdi Gateway to a post or pole

Solar Power System LED Status Meaning
Battery charge controller lights are visible through the front of the battery. They provide information about whether the system is receiving power from solar panels, providing power to a device, and other systems faults. Reminder, a cable or cap needs to be connected to the power output cable to turn the system on.
