To add, modify, or delete polygons representing fields and zones, please contact your Verdi account manager. While we are actively working to make this a user-accessible feature, we’re happy to assist you in the meantime. To streamline the process, have a drawing, PDF, ArcGIS file, or GeoJSON file ready to share with your account manager.

Field Setup

This section is for Admin accounts and will not apply to User accounts.

Your farm(s) will be represented on the Verdi Dashboard via fields and zones. You can designate each individual farm site or field as an AOI.

To add AOIs to your account, navigate to and enter the Admin Toolbox. Select Edit AOIs.

Name your new AOI. Most users will enter the farm, field, or site name. Press Create AOI.

Click on the map to add points and draw the shape of your AOI.

Click Finish AOI, then navigate and select your new AOI in the list below. If necessary, detail your AOI by adding, deleting, and moving vertices.

To save your progress, navigate to and select the save icon . This will also close the Edit AOI sidebar.

To delete unwanted AOIs, select the bin icon , then select the save icon.

At any point selecting the X-icon will cancel any progress in that Edit AOI session and close the sidebar.

AOIs with green edges indicate unselected fields, navy edges indicate currently selected fields, and cyan edges indicate previously selected fields.

Zone Setup

This section is for Admin accounts and will not apply to User accounts.

Your farm(s) will be represented on the Verdi Dashboard via AOIs and zones. AOIs can be subdivided into as many zones as necessary. Most users will subdivide their AOIs along irrigation blocks or subblocks.

To add zones to your AOIs, navigate to and enter the Admin Toolbox. Select Edit Zones.

Begin by naming your zone. Most users will enter the block name. Press Create Zone.

Click on the map to add points and draw the shape of your zone.

Click Finished, then navigate and select your new AOI in the list below. If necessary, you can detail your zone by adding, deleting, and moving vertices.

To save your progress, navigate to and select the save icon . This will also close the Edit Zone sidebar.

To delete unwanted zones, select the bin icon , then select the save icon.

At any point selecting the x-icon will cancel any progress in that Edit Zone session and close the sidebar.
